NEW YORK, NY - August, 2002 - The Millennium Hotel, Cincinnati was recently
awarded the coveted Silver Plate by the Ohio Chapter of Meeting
Professionals International (OHMPI). The honor, bestowed each fiscal year
to a chapter meeting sponsor that provides the best event presentation, is
measured by member feedback on the criteria of food presentation and level
of service.
“We are thrilled to be recognized by an organization as esteemed as Meeting
Professionals International based on the quality of our meeting product,”
said Lisa Carrere, director of sales and marketing for the Millennium Hotel,
Cincinnati. “This reaffirms our rank as one of the premier venues for
meetings and events in the city of Cincinnati and is a testament to the hard
work and dedication of our team.”
The Millennium Hotel, Cincinnati has recently undergone a major program of
renovation of enhancements totaling more than $22-million. The 440-room
property is the official hotel of the adjacent, 300,000-square-foot Dr.
Albert B. Sabin Convention Center, to which it is attached by an enclosed
skywalk. The highlight of the property`s 27,000-square-feet of meeting and
banquet space is the 10,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom.

The hotel complex is also unique in its offerings in that it encompasses
two, well-respected brands under one roof: Millennium Hotels and Resorts

Cincinnati Downtown, also operated by Millennium Hotels and Resorts,
occupies the south portion of this dual-towered site, enabling the company
to offer a broad spectrum of services, accommodations and prices to business
and leisure travelers. Meeting and event facilities are shared by the two
towers.
Located in the heart of downtown, the Millennium Hotel, Cincinnati is close

Riverfront Stadium. Among the property`s other amenities are two lounges, a
fitness facility with sauna, racquetball and squash courts, an outdoor
swimming pool, barbershop, gift shop, indoor valet parking and three
