Carlton Tower Unveils New Look

Dubai, August, 2002: The latest addition to the award winning Jumeirah International portfolio, The Carlton Tower, London is shortly to complete an extensive refurbishment programme, giving a fresh new look and feel to the hotel.

Last December, when Jumeirah International assumed the management, The Carlton Tower was immediately awarded the prestigious ‘Leading Hotels of the World’ accreditation, thereby joining three of its sister properties, Burj Al Arab, Emirates Towers Hotel and The Jumeirah Beach Hotel, in Dubai.

The refurbishment programme, which incorporates a complete redesign of the Chinoiserie lobby lounge, as well as most guest bedrooms and suites, has been carefully implemented to ensure that the luxurious new surroundings are complementary to The Carlton Tower’s unique atmosphere.

The refurbished guest rooms reflect a contemporary design while maintaining an image of elegance and sophistication with clean modern lines. The new rooms also incorporate natural materials such as European oak, marble and leather. The bedrooms’ cool white bed linen are offset against subtle shades of blue and brown, while suites combine tones of olive and aubergine creating a warm environment with modern design flair. Elegant bathrooms with glass sinks and aqua tiles complete the look, with Bulgari amenities in all suites.

With every convenience for the international business and leisure traveller, all guest rooms will feature the latest in-room technology including cordless phones, Bose CD players and hi-fi systems, desk-top level sockets and US voltage connection points. Suites also feature fax machines, which act as a scanner, printer and photocopier, and these are available to other guest rooms on request.

Its style, warmth and luxury fit perfectly with the Jumeirah International brand, whilst retaining the unique style of The Carlton Tower”.
