Wyndham Tees Off Partnership With the Executive Women`s Golf Association

Wyndham International continues to demonstrate its commitment to women business travelers through a new partnership with the Executive Women`s Golf Association (EWGA).
Wyndham will serve as the official preferred hotel partner of EWGA, the premier international organization for professional women who desire to use golf as a tool for both personal growth and corporate advancement. This partnership builds on Wyndham`s and its WOMEN ON THEIR WAY(R) program`s strong network of support for professional women, both on the links and off.
“Golf has evolved into a corporate pastime and vital networking activity,” said Cary Jehl Broussard, vice president of WOMEN ON THEIR WAY marketing. “Through this partnership with EWGA and its 16,500 members, and our support of the LPGA Golf Clinics for Women, WOMEN ON THEIR WAY is providing the resources women need to be as confident on the golf course as they are in the workplace.”
The partnership provides EWGA members with valuable benefits, outlined below:
— Special negotiated midweek corporate rates
  — Weekend offers reserved exclusively for EWGA members
  — A $10 Wyndham donation to EWGA when members register for
Wyndham ByRequest and complete their first night`s stay
  — A tailored Internet booking page that allows EWGA members to
automatically book their stay at the special member rate

Additionally, Pamela Swensen, EWGA`s vice president of sales and marketing, will sit on the WOMEN ON THEIR WAY Advisory Board, which tracks trends in and provides feedback on initiatives that benefit women business travelers.
“Wyndham, like EWGA, is dedicated to women`s professional and personal development,” said Sara Hume, executive director of EWGA. “Wyndham`s partnership and support is the perfect compliment to our efforts and the benefits now offered to EWGA members will certainly be highly valued.”
Other organizations that are supported by Wyndham`s WOMEN ON THEIR WAY program include the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Business and Professional Women/USA (BPW/USA), the Women`s Leadership Initiative for meeting professionals, LPGA Golf Clinics for Women, American Business Women`s Association (ABWA) and the Susan G. The EWGA has 16,500 members located in over 103 chapters across the United States and Canada. The organization has enjoyed 25 percent growth over the past two years.
