Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein has introduced picnics in its six hectare grounds every Sunday from 12 until 9 pm. Costing € 50 for two persons, each group receives an individually prepared picnic lunch with matching wines, a selection of soft drinks and a Kempinski rug. Picnic guests can also use the Wellness Centre, which has an outdoor heated swimming pool (supplied from the hotel’s own spring), sauna, jacuzzi and fitness area.
The Kempinski Hotel Falkenstein is located within the health resort of Koenigstein in the Taunus mountains, 20 km from Frankfurt. It opened in September 1999 after an extensive renovation programme and is managed by Kempinski Hotels & Resorts. The property was built in 1909 and consists of one historical main building and six adjoining houses in English country style surrounded by a private park. There are spectacular views of Kronberg and Falkenstein castles as well as the Frankfurt skyline.
