Stephen D. Kime has joined Adam`s Mark Hotels & Resorts in the new position of assistant vice president for group sales. In this position, Steve will oversee the sales efforts of multiple properties.
Kime, who will be based in the Adam`s Mark Chicago National Sales Office, has more than 20 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience. He has spent most of his career with Hyatt Hotels, most recently serving as director of marketing for the 2,019-room Hyatt Regency Chicago.
Kime also held sales and marketing management positions at Hyatt properties in Columbus, Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Ky., and before that began his hospitality career with the Radisson Bay Harbor, a New York Yankee property, in Tampa.
“As a seasoned sales and marketing executive, Steve is a very strong addition to our sales team,” said Fred S. Kummer III, executive vice president and chief operating officer for the upscale hotel chain. “His experience will be particularly beneficial in assisting the sales organizations and building revenue opportunities at our larger hotels.”
