designhotels.com Introduces Its Hot Spot Guide

Augsburg / Scottsdale - Owners, directors, reception staff and concierges from design hotels? member properties all share their personal recommendations on the www.designhotels.com website. With the new “hot spot” guide, design hotels? offers its website users an extra service. Suggestions for visits to architecturally important buildings and interiors are supplied, as well as hints on new restaurants, bars and clubs, shopping locations, wellness and sports facilities in various cities around the world.

“The people in these hotels are central to what we are offering”, says CEO of design hotels?, Claus Sendlinger. “It’s a special aspect of our hotels that the staff and management have their roots in the local scene. Many of the concierges are also actually highly-motivated scouts, which is a good enough reason to introduce them personally on our website, and publish some of their best tips”.
A different “face” is planned each week, from one of the nearly 100 design hotels? members, distributed through 30 countries. “Our scouts give us seven or eight of their favourite locations each, and over a time, the result is a high-value portfolio of secret scene tips and special architectural highlights”.

The new service starts with Samir Kadi, concierge at The Metropolitan, London, who will be followed by Roland Starke, Director of SIDE hotel in Hamburg. Further characters from member hotels in Paris, Milan, Stockholm, Florence and Venice will follow shortly.

Within the mini-relaunch of the website, design hotels? have also optimized its online hotel booking, the designhotels.com shop with design hotels? books and music CDs, and also the site’s graphics.
