Adam`s Mark Hotel of Tulsa is undergoing its most expansive renovation in 10 years, modernizing all 462 guest rooms with new lighting, carpet, wall covering and furniture.
The $1.5 million renovation project will take about one year, but will not disrupt business, said Brett Sundstrom, general manager.
“Although this is a major renovation project, our guests won`t even know it`s happening,” he said. “We`re doing it one floor at a time, which means a couple of positive things. First, there is almost no noise, since we are not knocking down walls or driving nails. And secondly, the vast majority of our rooms will be available for occupancy throughout the process.”
Sundstrom said the hotel delayed the project for a few weeks so that it could accommodate some convention guests who wanted to stay in the hotel. “The renovations are important, but not more important than our service to our customers,” he said.
The Adam`s Mark staff expects the new guest rooms will help the hotel attract additional meetings and conventions, Sundstrom said. “Conventions can have a very positive impact on the host city,” he said. “So, our hope is that this renovation project can benefit all Tulsans.”
Adam`s Mark is located in downtown Tulsa in Williams Center. The hotel is also home to Bravo! Ristorante, Tiffany Rose restaurant, and The Player`s Club sports bar.
