Management Changes at Rocco Forte Hotels


Sir Rocco Forte is pleased to announce two new General Managers for his Hotel Amigo in Brussels and the Hotel Savoy in Florence.

Ivan Artolli is promoted to General Manager of the newly-refurbished 177-bedroom Hotel Amigo, located next to the picturesque Grand Place in Brussels. Ivan spent the last three years as General Manager of Sir Rocco`s 107-bedroom Hotel Savoy in the centre of Florence. He replaces Douwe Cramer who has left to become General Manager of the Lauswolt Country House Hotel in his native Holland.

Davide Bertilaccio joins the company as General Manager of the Hotel Savoy in Florence. He has eight years` experience working within the Four Seasons Group worldwide and, more recently, with the Hotel Cala de Volpe in Porto Cervo, Italy, and the Alain Ducasse Group in Paris.

Sir Rocco commented, “Ivan has made an outstanding job of relaunching the Savoy since we reopened it in 2000 and I know he will do the same at the Amigo.” He continued, “I am very pleased to welcome Davide to the company. He brings with him a great deal of quality experience within the industry and I am sure he will continue the good work that Ivan has started at the Savoy.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Douwe Cramer for transforming the Amigo into the best hotel in Brussels. He has overseen the refurbishment and brought the service levels up to the high standards synonymous with Rocco Forte Hotels. We wish him well in his future role.”
