N. CHARLESTON, S.C. (July 2, 2002) A 132-room Rodeway Inn located at 2355 Aviation Avenue (exit 211 of I-26) in the new $9 million Charleston Travel Plaza is now open.

The Rodeway Inn, formerly operated as the Sea Grass Inn, recently underwent a $700,000 renovation which included painting and re-carpeting all rooms, painting the exterior of the hotel and adding decorative cast iron railings and colorful canopies to balconies to replicate the look of historic downtown Charleston.

Guest rooms are decorated in an old Charleston theme. Each room and suite features one king or two double or queen size beds, desk, remote-control cable TV and telephone. Each suite also features a pull-out sofa bed, stove, microwave and refrigerator.

The Rodeway Inn in North Charleston also features the Rodeway Choice Room, a special room designed for senior citizens.
