Burj Al Arab Awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certification

Burj Al Arab, part of Dubai-based luxury hospitality group Jumeirah International, has recently been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certification by Lloyds Register for Quality Assurance for their quality management system. Burj Al Arab is the fourth Jumeirah International property, after, The Jumeirah Beach Club, The Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Wild Wadi Water Park, to implement and achieve the standards as required of ISO 9001:2000.

Gerald Lawless, Managing Director, Jumeirah International states; “The certification demonstrates our ongoing endorsement of our commitment to ISO as one of the main measures of ensuring that our standards are consistently applied throughout the group and any changes to standards have to be communicated in a logical and formal way. I would like to sincerely thank the staff and management of Burj Al Arab and the Quality Management Team of Jumeirah International for all their efforts in ensuring success of our ISO certification throughout the group. Well done.”
