WASHINGTON - June 25, 2002 - Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) is scheduled to open the 203-room Courtyard by Marriott in Elizabeth, N.J. this July. Located at 87 Glimcher Realty Way the Courtyard Elizabeth/Newark Airport will be owned and managed by Marriott International, Inc. of Washington D.C.

Situated one mile from Newark International Airport and minutes from downtown Newark, the Courtyard Elizabeth/Newark Airport offers guests convenient access to Staten Island, Giants Stadium, Ikea Elizabeth, Rex Plex Sports, Liberty State Park, Port Elizabeth, and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
