According to a Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) survey, 77 percent of last-year travelers plan to take at least one trip this summer. The TIA study also suggests most travelers plan to spend less on pleasure trips than they did last summer, while 76 percent plan to travel by car. Almost one-third of people traveling by car will do so because they consider it to be the least expensive mode of transportation.

After a third stay, guests will automatically receive a free night certificate. A stay is one or more consecutive nights at the same hotel regardless of check in/check out occurrences. Guests can receive up to a maximum of two free night certificates. Free night certificates will be redeemable at participating hotels August 16, 2002 through Dec. 30, 2003, based upon availability.
