President Bush Chooses Sir Rocco Forte`s Hotel Astoria in St. Petersburg

During his recent visit to St Petersburg in Russia, President Bush chose to stay at Rocco Forte Hotels` five-star Hotel Astoria. The hotel, which has been fully refurbished and is now a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, enjoys a central location next to the landmark St Isaac`s cathedral, making it convenient for all the major attractions and shopping in the heart of the city.

In keeping with the company`s philosophy, the refurbishment of the hotel has given it a fresh, stylish look whilst retaining its individuality and Russian ambience. New additions have included Davidov`s Russian restaurant, a new bar, fitness centre and the latest technology, both in-room and within the conference and banqueting suites.

Sir Rocco commented, “We have invested a great deal in restoring the hotel to its former glory and have introduced rigorous training programmes for our staff in order to deliver the facilities and service levels expected from a five-star hotel. President Bush`s decision to stay with us is testament to this and we were proud to welcome him to the Astoria.”
