WASHINGTON - The Budapest Marriott Hotel won three awards from Budapest Week Publishing (BWP), one of the leading English language publication companies in Budapest. This was the ninth annual Best of Budapest Awards. The hotel was named “Best Five Star Hotel” and “Best View,” both for the third consecutive year, and “Best Food and Beverage Service” for the first time.

Winners were selected from 10,000 questionnaires that were placed in some of the most frequented areas of the city such as Ferihegy airport, five-star hotels, and tourist offices. They were also sent to 1,000 major international and local companies. Eighty-eight “Best of Budapest” awards were given out in 56 categories to various businesses as a sign of recognition for their high-quality services.

The bilingual (English/Hungarian) “Best of Budapest 2001” guide to the best hotels, restaurants, bars and pubs in the city will be available in the coming weeks.
