Hilton Hotels Corporation is proud to announce its top hotel performance award winners for the Hilton(R), Doubletree(R) and Embassy Suites Hotels(R) brands, which were presented during the company`s recent Full-Service Brand Conference in San Francisco.
Award-winning hotels within the three brands were determined through key areas within the company`s Balanced Scorecard rating system: quality assurance and customer satisfaction ratings. Each hotel received a trophy and individual recognition at specially planned celebratory receptions during the conference.
“The Hilton Pride Awards represent the continued pledge to guest service and satisfaction that each of our Hilton hotels strive to provide our guests,” said Robert E. Dirks, senior vice president—brand management and marketing for Hilton. “Each of our award recipients personify performance excellence in three key categories that are integral to the success of our business.”
“Loyal Doubletree customers have consistently praised our hotels for a longstanding tradition of warm and caring service,” said Dave Horton, senior vice president—brand management for Doubletree. “Quality is the driver of success in our industry. We are proud to present the Doubletree Pride Awards to acknowledge those hotels that have created an outstanding hotel experience, as well as encourage all of our properties to meet and exceed our guests` expectations.”
Embassy Suites Hotels has recognized 16 hotels with 2001 Pride Awards, representing the top 10 percent of the brand in terms of guest satisfaction rating surveys and product quality scores, and five hotels with awards for most improved product and service scores in 2001.
“Representing the leading all-suite brand in the U.S., Embassy Suites Hotels consistently deliver excellent service and product, which is why the brand has been recognized as #1 in its respective category for three consecutive years by J.D. Power and Associates,” said Mark Snyder, senior vice president—brand management for Embassy Suites Hotels. “Without top-notch hotels like the following award winners, our brand would not achieve the best-in-class status that it has, year after year.”
Themed “We`ve Got the Power,” Hilton`s Full-Service Conference offered opportunities for participants that included hotel owners, general managers and Hilton Hotels Corporation team members, to learn, network and build relationships through general sessions, brand-specific meetings, workshops and award presentations.
