Ferran Adria Invents “Fast-Good” For NH Hoteles

Ferrán Adriá, the Grand Spanish Chef, one of the most acclaimed worldwide, has invented a new culinary concept for NH, the “Fast-Good”, an innovative and revolutionary concept that will change the current gastronomic offering in hotel establishments. The “Fast-Good” concept aims to make fast food compatible with the best quality, with the added advantage of carrying the seal of Ferrán Adriá.

NH Hoteles will install the first “Fast-Good” in the corner of the NH Eurobuilding, one of the chain`s landmark hotels. The entrance to this new space, expected to open by February 2003, will be on Alberto Alcocer Street.

The well-known chef and NH Hoteles are confident on the success of “Fast-Good”, not just in Spain, but also in the other European hotels where this concept is introduced.

Ferrán Adrià said, “we arrived at the “Fast-Good” concept after analysing the markets in different parts of the world. Business travellers may not have too much time for dining but they are very concerned about taking care of themselves and about consuming quality food. This is why we are confident that this concept will be successful”.

Since the age of 18, when by pure chance, he began working as a chef`s assistant in a small hotel; Ferran Adrià has never ceased to win critical acclaim in the restaurant world. In 1984, he was already the director of the kitchen in El Bulli, and since then, with Julio Soler, the restaurant`s manager at that time, he made a commitment to develop restaurant services different from the known standards. They worked at developing a truly different and new culinary style during the years 85, 86, 87, and 88. In 1995 they set up catering headquarters in Barcelona under the name of El Bulli Catering, raising the level of quality and prestige in banquet services to new heights. Ferran Adrià, an advisor to leading quality brands, always undertakes new projects with tenacity, an innovative spirit, and enthusiasm, hence, his image is associated with the best companies always ensure spectacular results.
