Heaped with Prizes: the two Mövenpick Resorts in El Gouna and El Quseir

The Mövenpick resorts in El Gouna and El Quseir in Egypt are currently carrying on from the success they enjoyed last year. These Red Sea holiday resorts have won numerous prizes for service, quality, hygiene, customer satisfaction and exemplary environmental policies.

Both resorts were again winners of the “TUI Holly Award”, in which TUI guests choose the most popular 100 of 4000 hotels, and the “Kuoni Green Planet Award”, an ecological prize given to hotels for exceptional standards of environmental protection and ecological hotel management. This pays particular attention to the consumption of energy and water, waste disposal and materials management.
While El Quseir also received the SGS Certificate for perfect hygiene, especially in the food & beverage sector, El Gouna Mövenpick Resort was the proud recipient of the “Hotelplan Environmental Award” and the “Green Environmental Award” of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.

The general managers of these two resorts, Edgar Solenthaler (El Gouna) and Robert Fellermeier (El Quseir) were extremely content with so much praise: “We are delighted that both guests and travel operators appreciate the quality we offer. Winning awards to this extent also means high motivation for our staff.”
