Frequent Guest Program Re-launches

PHOENIX - The Worldå‘s Largest Hotel Chain, Best Western International is re-launching its frequent guest program, Gold Crown Club International with enhanced features that make the program more popular and easier to use for members throughout the world.
The highlight of the enhanced program is the addition of a free global room night award. GCCI members now have the opportunity to earn their points in Paris, Texas and redeem them in Paris, France, for example. The number of points needed for a free night varies depending on the location, but more than 900 properties worldwide are available at the initial 800 point level. Regardless of the location selected all GCCI members will find their award easy to redeem with no restrictions or blackout dates. Additionally, the awards are fully transferable.

“The fact that we are an international company is our single greatest asset,” explained David Kong, vice president of Strategic Services. “We closely examined the strengths of our program, such as varied awards and low redemption levels, and made certain to maintain them while looking at additional ways to improve the program. This was achieved through the addition of the global room night award and online statement access that is available worldwide through the Internet.”
GCCI has also added elite tiers to the program. This includes a Platinum and Diamond level that gives members the opportunity to earn extra points with each stay and receive early check-in, late checkout and room upgrades when available. The program is designed to let members receive their elite status much earlier than most other frequency programs. Fifteen nights are required to earn Platinum status and 30 nights for Diamond level. Once the elite levels are obtained Platinum members will earn and additional 10 percent point bonus for all qualified stays and Diamond members will receive a 15 percent bonus.
