has announced it is to supply its market-leading browser-based system to Seligo.
Seligo, holiday accommodation and attraction ticket provider, will use the Travelink system to sell on the web and through viewdata to maximise agent and consumer bookings.
The operator has taken the new version of Travelink`s system - launched at last year`s World Travel Market - which incorporates viewdata for the first time, to meet the distribution needs of summer sun tour operators, and also featured enhanced GDS connections.
David Cockerton, chairman and managing director at Seligo said: “We have chosen a system that will allow us to expand sales through the trade and consumers alike, and which will underpin Seligo`s continued rapid growth. We are impressed by Travelink`s commitment to constant technological development and look forward to a great relationship together.”
Howard Frost, sales director at Travelink said: “Seligo is a fast-growing company and Travelink was able to provide them with a system that will maximise their distribution options and which will also develop with them as they grow. We are delighted with Seligo`s decision, and believe they are the first of many tour operations who will take the new Travelink system.”
Travelink`s system will offer Seligo users a common interface at every workstation, both within the operator`s head office and at overseas sites, with all the company`s employees experiencing the same look and feel.
Features of Travelink`s latest system include GDS connections, enhanced CRM functionality and marketing tools, high quality client documentation, automated emailing to clients and travel providers, and complex pricing matrices with component-based markups.
