Ritz-Carlton Selects Micros Hospitality Management System

has installed its powerful MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS) at the new Ritz-Carlton
, Lake Las Vegas, Nevada, which is slated to open in February.

The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas has also chosen to install NetVuPoint, a new web reporting application introduced by MICROS in July 2002, and MICROS Opera Property Management System. This is the fifth Ritz-Carlton hotel to open with the MICROS 9700 HMS and the third to install Opera. Other U.S. installations are planned.

“The Ritz-Carlton has a long-standing and positive relationship with MICROS, and we are always eager to get their latest technology into our properties,” stated Pam Angelucci, CIO of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. “The 9700 HMS and Opera have an excellent track record in other Ritz-Carlton hotels, and with the added benefits provided by NetVuPoint, we know our management team at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas will be able to provide smooth and efficient service to its guests.”


The Windows(R) 2000 based 9700 HMS offers POS anywhere, with reporting and configuration everywhere. The 9700`s Remote Management Console (RMC), which includes an easy to use Configurator, an HTML-based Report Writer, and the Autosequencer, offers a simplified and remotely accessible tool to manage the business from any location.
