Fairmont Hotels & Resorts to participate in pointsxchange

and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, today announced an agreement that will see Fairmont become the newest member in pointsxchange?, the world’s first online loyalty program currency exchange.

, one of North America’s largest luxury hotel brands, to the pointsxchange program provides users with a great new hotel option to make the most of their miles and points.

The agreement provides a framework for consumers to exchange other participating pointsxchange currencies for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts gift certificates, redeemable at any of the company’s 39 world class hotels and resorts in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Bermuda, Barbados and the United Arab Emirates.

Thirty leading loyalty programs are now participating in pointsxchange, including Air Canada, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Six Continents Hotels, Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines, America West Airlines, GiftCertificates.com, Imperial Oil (Esso Extra), FTD.COM, and Sprint.
