InTouch & iJET Partnership Enhances Traveller Security

InTouch USA

, provider of global cellular rentals for international travelers, and
iJET Travel Intelligence, the travel risk management company, have
announced a strategic partnership to co-market WorldLink-a service which
provides iJET`s travel intelligence and assistance services via InTouch
USA`s international cellular and satellite phones.

Through this service, iJET will deliver real-time alerts to a traveller`s
international phone regarding situations that may impact their trip.
Travellers receive these alerts as brief text messages delivered to their
phone, providing immediate notice of emerging or evolving conditions, along
with recommendations for minimising disruptions.  Every day, iJET warns
thousands of travellers around the world about transportation strikes, civil
unrest, disease outbreaks, severe weather, new visa rules, terrorist
activities and more.

In addition to real-time wireless alerts, WorldLink provides travelers with
access to a personalized Web site provided by iJET that contains detailed
destination intelligence tailored to each traveler based on their itinerary
and personal profile.  Travellers can also use an InTouch USA wireless
international phone to connect to iJET`s 24/7 medical and travel assistance
center for help with travel problems including medical referrals, emergency
claims assistance, passport replacement and legal referrals.

“Staying informed of changing conditions while traveling abroad saves time,
money and even lives,” said iJET`s Vice President of Partnerships, Ken
Lesniak.  “Transportation problems, civil unrest and terrorist activities
represent just a few of the disruptions regularly faced by international
travelers.  Through WorldLink, travellers can feel secure knowing that their
itinerary is being monitored 24/7, that they will be contacted if there is a
development that may affect their trip, and that travel assistance is just a
call away.”
