Effective immediately Northwest Airlines is offering passengers a 5% discount on tickets purchased via Northwest’s web site for Northwest flights within the U.S. 48, between U.S. 48 and Canada or Alaska, or from U.S. 48 to select destinations in Asia. This offer is valid for most coach class fares with at least a 14-day advance purchase requirement. Other restrictions may apply.

Tickets must be purchased online at www.nwa.com through Friday, October 1, 1999. Travel must be completed by December 15, 1999. For complete details and to book online, go to Northwest’s web site at www.nwa.com and click on the “5% Discount” feature.

In addition, the airline is offering its WorldPerks members 1,000 WorldPerks Bonus Miles for booking online between now and December 31, 1999.
