Rosenbluth Integrates Credit Card Data with Travel Data

Raising the bar in data reconciliation, consolidation and reporting capabilities, Rosenbluth International announced today the expansion of its current breadth of data services to include the merging of credit card data with travel data, providing the most complete data set available to travel and procurement managers.
This addition further validates Rosenbluth`s strong commitment to its data warehousing and delivery strategies.

As an extension to the existing automated credit card reconciliation program, Rosenbluth

will utilize the data to fill gaps in transaction detail presently aggregated to its extensive global data warehouse. The additional detail received from the credit card providers will improve the integrity of travel management reports by capturing transactions not booked through the travel management company. Examples may include alternative air inventory sources (such as low cost carriers), hotel and car bookings?all significant contributors to negotiated program leakage today. Additionally, Rosenbluth will leverage the opportunity to provide lower levels of detail such as levels 2 and 3 from the card providers in the future. Rosenbluth`s ability to proactively collect and report to this level of detail is unparalleled in the travel management industry.

“By enhancing our already robust data services to include data not previously available from a single source, our client base will have access to the most comprehensive travel management data possible, said Rosenbluth`s Chief Technology and Solution Officer John Dabek. “Coupled with our existing capabilities to aggregate and distribute data to and from our offices worldwide, we view this development to be extremely powerful”.

Reports including the credit card data will be distributed via Rosenbluth`s iVISION web-reporting platform, introduced earlier this year. The integration effort will be completed prior to the close of 2002 and made generally available to subscribing clients in early 2003.
