Priceline Launch New Asia Region Travel Service

MSN, the world`s leading consumer network with over 300 million unique users, has partnered with Priceline, the Name Your Own Price(tm) travel service, to launch a new Asian travel service.
The service is accessible now via MSN`s Hong Kong website at www.msn.com.sq

and in Singapore at www.msn.com.hk.

It also will be available through the innovative new `Tabs` function in MSN`s Instant Messenger by the end of this year in Hong Kong.

MSN users in Hong Kong can now access Priceline`s booking engine directly and to buy airline tickets and hotel rooms around the world at significant discounts.  The http://msnhk.com/priceline

site incorporates the unique Expert Zone; a feature available to registered MSN users that includes a forum for travellers to share their Priceline experiences and to gain information about their travel destinations. The Zone is MSN`s first local community forum devoted to travel.

“The immediacy of MSN Instant Messenger has long made it extremely popular across Asia and now by providing access to new services like Travel through the new Tabs feature, we expect the number of users to multiply still more rapidly,” said Celia Chong Wu, Regional General Manager, MSN Asia. “Using the new Tabs feature in Instant Messenger, users can now swap holiday ideas and Priceline booking experiences with their online buddies, enabling them to chat about their plans and even finalise their ticket purchase together in a matter of seconds.”

“By partnering with leading companies like Priceline, we are aiming to make affordable travel more accessible to local MSN users, while at the same time offering the convenience of a one-stop Internet shop for all travel needs.”
