Northwest Airlines Puts Its Website Just A Phone Call Away

Savvy travelers looking to get the most out of their travel schedule can now pick up their Wireless Application Protocol - enabled (WAP) cell phone and surf over to Northwest Airline’s web site for handheld devices - www.wireless.nwa.com - to check up-to-the minute flight arrivals and departures and to access the balance of their WorldPerks frequent flyer account.

“Information is only valuable if it’s timely and deliverable,” said Al Lenza, Northwest vice president - distribution planning. “For a traveler on the go, checking flight details on the go, with one-touch access to Northwest reservations, means less hassle, less wasted time and more time for taking care of business.”

Customers can check status for flights operating today, tomorrow or even yesterday and receive real-time departure, arrival and gate information. Should the customer need to reach Northwest for further information, reservations agents are just a click away. Customers can also determine their WorldPerks mileage balances with just a few clicks.
