bmibaby and Sterling Added to FlightScanner
, developers of Dolphin for Windows, the leading edge office automation system for travel agencies, is pleased to announce that as of Monday 7 October bmibaby and Sterling will be the latest no frills carrier to be featured on its FlightScanner search engine.
Flightscanner will feature bmibaby and Sterling alongside the other no frills airlines already providing travel agents a single stop solution when it comes to booking no frills carriers in Europe.
In this first release of bmibaby, FlightScanner will display information from the public web site. As soon as the bmibaby trade section is launched later in the year, this will also be supported for agents that will obtain an ID and password from bmibaby (similar to the way it works for other airlines already).
Renee Menteath, Product Manager for FlightScanner, says, “since the first release of the product, bmibaby was the most requested airline for implementation. However we knew that bmibaby was going to change its web booking engine soon and decided to wait for this new implementation before completing our own development. bmibaby has now been implemented only 2 weeks after the release of its new booking engine.”
Sterling is a carrier that operates in the Scandinavia market covering routes within Scandinavia and to the Mediterranean.
