Over 30,000 WorldRes Hotels are available on Hotel.de
via an XML seamless interface for content, rates availability and reservations.

and Hotel.de have completed an XML interface enabling messaging between the WorldRes hotel booking engine and Hotel.de’s online reservation system.  The XML interface is the first of its kind developed by WorldRes in collaboration with a distribution partner. 

Hotel.de is a leader in the German market offering over 70,000 competitively priced hotels through an easy to use website. They have created innovative sales solutions for hotels and travel agents including the hotel booking system and an online auction system to sell hotel and travel agent packages.  Dr. Heinz Raufer - Director of Marketing & Finance commented, “WorldRes selection of independent hotels are both unique to WorldRes as well as great value for our customers.  We are delighted to add this content to our website.”

Hotel.de is an important addition to the Internet Distribution Network that WorldRes offers its 30,000 member hotels.  Hotel.de have proven their ability to move hotel inventory, particularly in the German market, with over 4000 reservations per month that is currently growing at a monthly rate of over 30%.  WorldRes has some 1743 hotels in Germany who, along with worldwide hotels, are set to see some new reservations from Hotel.de.  The deal with Hotel.de further enhances WorldRes.com’s existing distribution in the German marketing including Opodo.de the pan-european online travel portal launched by nine European airlines, Reisen.de, TravelGate.de and many more.

WorldRes.com provides Hotel.de with descriptions, photographs, rates and availability for over 30,000 hotels, bed and breakfasts, inns and resorts.  The seamless XML interfaces means that content, rates and availability update in real time whilst reservations information is transferred between the systems using SSL encryption for security.
