United Airlines have announced that it will continue to offer Mileage Plus bonus miles for tickets purchased on its web site, united.com

, through Dec. 31, 2002.

For United roundtrip tickets purchased on united.com using a U.S. issued credit card from Oct. 1, 2002 through Dec. 31, 2002, customers will receive 500 bonus miles (250 bonus miles for a one-way ticket) after travel is complete.  Customers booking on united.com for the first time will receive an additional 500 bonus miles for a roundtrip ticket (250 bonus miles for a one-way ticket) for a total of 1,000 bonus miles upon completion of travel.  Travel does not need to be completed by December 31, 2002 in order to qualify to receive these bonus miles. 

“This offer presents a wonderful opportunity for United Airlines’ customers to accrue additional miles in their Mileage Plus account on every flight purchased on united.com from October through the end of the year,” said Patricia Mash, vice president-revenue management for United.
