Worldspan Announces Partnership with OAG


Worldspan and OAG Worldwide, a leading independent provider of travel information products and services, announced an agreement under which OAG will co-brand and market Worldspan Trip Manager(R) for Government, Worldspan`s Internet-based booking solution tailor-made for government travel.

OAG

will offer Trip Manager for Government to U.S. federal government agencies, enabling these organizations to gain greater control over travel processes and reduce expenditures while offering employees added flexibility and convenience in their travel planning.
Under the agreement, OAG`s Government Business Unit (GBU), a specialized sales force with extensive experience, expertise and existing relationships in government travel, will offer Trip Manager for Government directly to strategic government partners.

will provide a variety of support services to enable OAG`s GBU to effectively promote Trip Manager for Government. Worldspan will also provide after-sale support, including implementation services, product training, on-going adoption support and account management through Worldspan`s Client Relations Consultant network. Ticket fulfillment services may be provided either through the Worldspan Ticket Manager Center or through a Worldspan strategic partner.

Trip Manager for Government enables government travelers to book air, car and hotel reservations, utilizing government contracted rates and other real-time travel data through an easy-to-use graphical interface. Trip Manager for Government meets the special requirements of government travel with features such as offering General Services Administration (GSA) contracted air carriers and accepting all standard forms of payment, including Government Travel Requests.


Online booking through Trip Manager for Government offers government agencies one simple solution to administer travel policies, leverage government rates, and give travelers greater control over their travel decisions.
