IATAN to host premiere of its latest educational video, Europe Made Easy, at the Asta 69th World Tra

Garden City, New York . . .There will be a wide variety of events awaiting those travel agents who attend the ASTA 69th World Travel Congress in Strasbourg, France.

One such event is a special premiere showing of IATAN’s newest educational video, Europe Made Easy, that will be shown the morning of November 10th at 8:30 a.m. sharp in the Tivoli Room of the Le Palais De La Musique Et Des Congres. The video is hosted by travel educator Dr. Marc Mancini and features Arnie Weissmann of the Weissmann Travel Reports. It is a most enjoyable way to ‘armchair’ travel through six major regions of Europe, learning about each country’s geographical uniqueness and reasons for visiting. Those wishing to attend the premiere can contact IATAN at 1-516-877-0503 for tickets.

Europe Made Easy is the second feature film IATAN has produced for its endorsed travel agency locations. The first, Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Geography, which focused on how geography can help agents better sell destinations, was so well received by the agency community that it is now in its third printing. “The new video follows the same breezy style, but utilizes roving reporter Arnie Weissmann, who provides great tips about traveling through Europe that you can pass along to your clients,” said Mike Maino, IATAN President & CEO.

Europe Made Easy will have equal appeal to consumers. Agents can purchase extra copies at a nominal charge and have their own showing for their clients who are booking European trips. The initial copy will be sent on a complimentary basis to every IATAN endorsed location. It is part of IATAN’s ongoing efforts to bring international geography knowledge to all agents who wish to remain current regarding the ever-changing political and geographical landscapes.

In addition to the geography premiere, IATAN will be offering agents complimentary souvenir luggage tags to all those who visit IATAN in the AMSI store. Once there, agents can take advantage of two opportunities to win fabulous travel prizes. The first - “Win the World: A Donation of Dollars for Dreams” is an IATAN Foundation fund-raising effort for a good cause: travel agent scholarships. Donate $10 for each chance to win fabulous travel prizes to exotic destinations.

The second opportunity is to participate in three drawings, each to be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday of the Congress. Three exciting TWA Getaway packages will be awarded, one to Reno, and two to Dorado beach and Cerromar Beach, PR. These include round-trip air transportation and hotel accommodations.
