Online Travel: A Reality in the Middle East!

Online travel has already started to develop beyond the borders of the US and Europe, particularly in Latin America and Asia where it has shown significant growth in the year 2000-2001.
Given the rapid development of the Internet in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) area (the number of Internet users should increase to 12 million in 2002-2003 according to the Research Unit of Internet Arab World magazine, Online Travel shows similar promise in the MENA area, and should represent significant revenue opportunities.

After about 8 weeks, UFLYonline
is now present in 8 countries in the area (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain and Kuwait) and has attracted 30,000 visitors in August.

The middle eastern internet user can now from the touch of his fingertips, book all flights with market fares from his home country, buy a holiday package designed to his or her taste or just make a hotel or a car reservation. Many users were used to access online travel on big US and European sites for information purposes. Today, the UFLYonline project is allowing them not only to browse the information, but also to buy instantly online.

Internet users can today access UFLYonline directly or through one of the travel channels UFLYonline has developed in the Middle East such as with:
