BA Selects ValueClick to Support New Booking Tool

, a provider of innovative media and technology solutions for advertisers and direct marketers, has announced that its subsidiary Be Free has been selected by British Airways
to support its travel agents` online booking tool, Trade Fare Explorer. 
BFAST will be used initially by British Airways to manage agent registration and login validation for Trade Fare Explorer as well as to track sales and manage commissions to their agents without requiring them to have individual Web sites.

British Airways has set-up its new Web-based booking tool to help drive traffic and online revenue through building more direct, online relationships with travel agents.

“The BFAST service is integral to the successful operation of Trade Fare Explorer,” stated Dean Yardley, Commercial Manager for British Airways. “By working with Be Free, we have developed a cost efficient and highly secure solution for the management of agent registration and login validation.” Carl White, European Managing Director of ValueClick, Inc. stated, “British Airways is an excellent example of how Be Free is moving beyond a traditional affiliate marketing service.
