WorldRes.com Partners with Marriott International

WorldRes.com, a leading online hotel reservation network, has announced a signed agreement with Marriott International, Inc., to distribute more than 2,400 worldwide hotels through a new XML link.


Through the agreement, Marriott
hotels will be bookable on the WorldRes
network of leading travel Web sites such as AOL, Opodo.com and PlacesToStay.com.
The following award-winning Marriott brands will be included: Marriott Hotels, Resorts and Suites, JW Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton, Renaissance, Residence Inn, Courtyard, TownePlace Suites, Fairfield Inn, SpringHill Suites, Ramada International and Marriott Vacation Club International.

With new agreements, such as this one with Marriott, we offer the most lodging choices available both on and offline,?h said Don Smith, vice president of sales of WorldRes.


The two-way XML link provides a direct connection to Marriott?fs central reservation system, automatically updating hotel supply, rates and inventory for a seamless customer experience. It is also the first hotel supply XML link in accordance with the most current version of the Open Travel Alliance?fs (OTA) XML standards for the travel industry.
