Amadeus, the leading global distribution system
(GDS) and technology provider, announced that they have signed an
agreement with Ypsilon Net AG, one of the leading Internet based booking
engines for travel, to act as the sales and marketing agent in the UK for
the Ypsilon Flight Pro range of products.

The agreement, which comes into effect on 01 August, is on an exclusive
basis for Amadeus UK and Ypsilon.  Previously unavailable through any GDS in
the UK, the Ypsilon Flight Pro booking engine will be incorporated into the
popular Amadeus AgentNet travel portal.

This exciting new partnership offers benefits to both travel suppliers and
travel agencies.

Supplier benefits include the ability to:

-  Store negotiated fares in a secure, hosted database with resulting
cost-savings

-  Offer a complete range of fares thanks to the advanced XML interface to
Amadeus published fares

-  Integrate the booking engine into existing web sites for distribution to
supplier sub-agencies and their customers.

Agent benefits include the ability to:

-  Simultaneously search negotiated, net and published fares with results
displayed in price order

-  Save time through powered functionality which checks both availability
and applicable fares

-  Automatically validate rules to reduce misquotes and agency debit memos

-  Shop, reserve and complete an entire booking in just 3 screens
