SolarNet, a leading provider of information management and electronic
distribution solutions for the travel industry, today announced the
availability of www.SolarNet.BIZ
, the new web address of the SolarNet Travel
Network; the travel web site designed exclusively for travel agents.

www.SolarNet.BIZ
is one of the first .BIZ web sites in the travel industry
and features low-priced consolidated airfares that travel agents can book
using SolarNet`s   LiveLinx*Plus Internet booking engine.

The company also announces the availability of the www.Solars.BIZ web site,
the new web address of its corporate web site.
The .BIZ top level domain name has only been available on the Internet since
November, 2001and according to Neulevel, Inc., operator of the .BIZ Name
Registry “caters exclusively to the needs of companies large and small
around the world. .BIZ is flexible, scalable and secure, offering all the
robust technologies firms demand in today`s competitive corporate
environment.”

The content on SolarNet Travel Network web site has been enhanced to
coincide with the .BIZ launch and the user interface has been completely
re-designed for ease of use. The new version has been available in a
pre-release version to travel agents since June 1st of this year and has
experienced impressive early success. Since the June 1st launch, 63% of all
SolarNet LiveLinx*PLUS bookings have occurred on the web.

“The www.SolarNet.BIZ site offers to the travel agent all of the
functionality that was previously only available on the SolarNet GDS
versions and it is a powerful combination of the latest in Internet
technologies, .BIZ, the web address built for online commerce, and
SolarNet`s proprietary LiveLinx technologies including the LiveLinx*PLUS
booking engine,” said Andrew O`Leary
, President and CEO of SolarNet. “This
new technology integrates seamlessly into the new IP Desktops being
delivered today.”
The SolarNet Travel Network is for travel agents only and requires a free
membership. SolarNet`s travel agent membership has increased 65% in the
second quarter and reflects the travel industry trend of increased influence
of web-based product delivery. One in every two visits to the SolarNet web
site originates from within GDS delivered web platforms indicating SolarNet
is being embraced by traditional travel agencies. The site also experiences
significant referrals from SolarNet`s “preferred vendor” listings on GDS
travel-agent-only web sites such as the Worldspan Go!® product.
