Travelocity and StudentUniverse Student Offer

As students begin their annual migration back to school this fall, Travelocity , the most popular travel site on the Web, and StudentUniverse, the largest online provider of dedicated student and faculty travel, are announcing a “Back to School/Summer in Sydney” sweepstakes.
The contest, which runs from August 12, 2002, through September 12, 2002, features two grand-prize trips for two to Sydney, Australia, and two one-way tickets for students heading back to school this fall. Actively enrolled students and faculty can enter through Travelocity`s Student Center.

Two grand-prize winners will head to Sydney with a friend for a “summer vacation” this winter. In addition to round-trip airfare, winners will receive eight nights shared private accommodation at a Sydney hostel, and free surf lessons at Sydney`s famous Manly Surf School. Two first-prize winners will receive a one-way ticket from the closest major airport to their home to the closest major airport to their school.

Travelocity`s Student Center, powered by StudentUniverse, offers discounted fares and travel products exclusively to students and faculty. The Student Center enables Travelocity to broaden its appeal to one of the fastest growing, and often overlooked niche markets—the 15 million North American students who spend approximately $15 billion annually on travel. StudentUniverse enjoys reciprocal sales and marketing benefits through Travelocity, dramatically increasing its penetration of the student travel market.
