Leading regional agency group Oakley Travel, behind Internetholidays.com and 30 other websites, is offering online customers guaranteed bottom-line prices by harnessing leading software provider Comtec`s
breakthrough pricing system.

The company has signed up to Comtec`s market-leading Travel Agency White Label solution, so enabling its customers to obtain real-time, bottom line prices on package holiday deals from the UK`s top 40 tour operators.

Currently, most travel websites only feature the basic prices of holidays, excluding a host of options - including room type and resort - that inflate the final price paid.

Since signing to Comtec`s entry-level online data solution last year, County Durham-based Oakley Travel has seen a four-fold increase in consumer bookings driven through its website. Other agencies harnessing Travel Agency White Label include Fleetway, Epremiertravel.com, Latebookers and Magic Breaks.

Said Oakley Travel`s IT manager Les Calvert: “Comtec`s solution has revolutionised our online operations. The unrealistic prices displayed on some travel websites, compared with the final price paid for the holiday, have left many travellers feeling web-wary. By assuring customers they will only pay the price they see on our website, we expect to see bookings rocket.”

Comtec`s solution - which is powered by software pioneered by its commercial partner DTS (Digital Travel Services) - provides consumers with direct access to operators` reservations systems through agency websites, with agents earning commission on every booking.
