Worldspan agents can book Cruise West and Regal Cruises through the GDS`s Go Resource Center even though the specialty lines generally use telephone reservations systems.
The technology to do so involves a Web-to-Web booking system developed by REZconnect of Englewood, N.J.

Instead of having to telephone these lines, Worldspan agents can make bookings and receive confirmations from their desktops.

Worldspan agents click on a Book It button associated with a cruise posted on the Worldspan Go Resource Center. They then submit to the cruise line a reservations form, which appears in an instant message that appears on the desktop of the cruise line res agent.

The res agent checks availability and delivers a confirmation to the agent via a pop-up message.
