Concur Technologies Buys Captura

Concur Technologies, a supplier of travel expense-management solutions for corporations, acquired competitor Captura for $2 million in cash and 5.2 million shares of Concur common stock.
The deal is valued at between $12.5 million and $14.9 million.

Concur is consolidating Captura employees and office functions into its headquarters here. Captura was based in nearby Kirkland, Wash.

Concur said a combined 350 employees from the two companies will be retained. Concur employs 320 people, Captura 140.

Concur`s customers include Citigroup, DuPont and Pfizer. Captura`s customers include Ford Motor Co., General Motors and Hewlett-Packard.
