iHotelier’s OneScreen Interface for Multi-Property Disney Site

31st Jul 2002

While its OneScreen reservation interface for single properties is still making waves in the industry, iHotelier
, a division of Webvertising Inc., has already announced the launch of its multi-property interface that will make its debut on DowntownDisneyHotels.com .
With the help of this new interface, visitors to the site will be able to choose hotels and make reservations while staying on the same dynamic page.

“OneScreen for individual properties has become a standard offering within the iHotelier suite of Products and Services.  The OneScreen application for multiple properties is a natural extension of our goal to shift the way reservations are made on the Internet”, says Jim Whitney, Chief Technology Officer for Webvertising
, iHotelier`s parent company.  “As a technology development company for the travel industry, we will continue to roll out more and more rich interface applications within this space such as event registration applications and dynamic package applications.”

Gilbert and Manjura Marketing, the destination marketing organization (DMO) for the Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels, works in conjunction with several hotels for the success of the DowntownDisneyHotels.com.  According to Ed Gilbert, Chairman and CEO of Gilbert and Manjura, “I have seen a lot of booking engines, but OneScreen is one of a kind.  It looks good, is easy to use, and most importantly, it enhances the overall experience of visitors to the site.  For the hotels’ management, iHotelier provides a host of different database management and marketing tools to their hotel clients, enabling them to better manage their customer relationships, understand the demographics of their guests and promote their hotel.  We can see and analyze the performance of not only Downtown Disney Hotels’ site but of each individual hotel listed on it.  Furthermore, their marketing features allow us to track and manage our online marketing campaigns, send e-mail blasts, and maintain client relations.”
