Galileo to Enhance Agency PrivateFares Product

Galileo International
, a leading provider of global
distribution services for the travel industry, has added Enhanced Rules
Validation to its Agency PrivateFares(tm) tool. 
This is a significant step
in its strategy to enhance its comprehensive range of fares products,
available to both corporate and leisure customers worldwide.

With these enhancements to Agency PrivateFares, travel agents will continue
to see both the public and private fares available for a specific journey on
the same screen.  However, they will no longer need to manually check the
rules and restrictions that are applied to these private fares as this will
be done automatically upon filing the fare quote into the booking file.

These enhancements to Agency PrivateFares are the first part of Galileo`s
strategy to make more fares available on its systems through the creation of
a new database platform that uses artificial intelligence running on
server-based technology.  When fully implemented, customers will be able to
undertake more complex fares searches with maximum speed and accuracy.

Enhanced Rules Validation within Agency Private Fares has been available to
international PrivateFares customers on Galileo systems since the beginning
of July 2002.
