Both NeatAgent and NeatOnline provide a timely solution to travel agencies
who must rethink their pricing strategies given the erosion of commission
revenue.  Unlike traditional travel agency tools, NeatAgent and NeatOnline
give travel agencies unprecedented control over their revenue by enabling
“markup” pricing that can be adjusted to optimize revenue up until the time of

NeatAgent and NeatOnline dynamically combine travel services from major
preferred airlines, car rental firms and hotel companies into a single, value-
priced transaction that includes the markup that is set and controlled by the
agency.  Agencies are paid their self-determined markup automatically into
their Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) bank accounts.  NeatAgent can be
accessed from anywhere using a simple Internet connection, enhancing agent
flexibility and productivity.
 
“This is incredibly powerful technology that allows agents to manage their
business as retailers by setting the price for their travel products and
services in a fully electronic environment, yet it is remarkably simple to
use,” said Steve Cossette, vice president of marketing and sales at Neat.  “To

NeatAgent and NeatOnline travel packages, or E-Packs, are all electronic.
They are created from a large pool of vendor inventory, including the major
U.S. air carriers, thousands of hotels and car rental locations and more than
1,100 markets served within the United States.  Unlike traditional vacation
products that are limited to a few leisure destinations with pre-packaged
inventory and paper vouchers, agents customize E-Packs using value-priced
inventory from leading air, car and hotel brands for dates, times and places
they want in one simple search.  E-Packs are built in real-time, and the
single price includes most taxes, fees and the agency`s markup.
