Effective immediately, Hilton has arranged with turbotrip.com (formerly RoomFinders.com), the global online hotel reservation service specializing in destination-oriented travel planning at www.turbotrip.com, to enable online booking at any Hilton- and Conrad International-branded hotel around the world.

“Through the easily navigable turbotrip.com site, Hilton will reach a broader base of travelers seeking hotel accommodations within a given destination,” said Robert E. Dirks, senior vice president - marketing and sales for the hotel division of Hilton Hotels Corporation. “Additionally, turbotrip.com is an extremely convenient travel service that appeals to consumers who are comfortable booking online travel - an important market segment for Hilton.”

Turbotrip.com offers thousands of current rates for short- and long-term bookings at nearly 500 Hilton and Conrad International hotels in more than 50 countries worldwide. All Hilton or Conrad International hotels are represented in a given destination, which provides travelers with a range of choices.

“Offering Hilton properties on turbotrip.com is a valuable service to our customers, appealing to the 38,000 consumers checking availability for destinations on the turbotrip.com site weekly,” said Darin McAuliffe, turbotrip.com’s executive vice president of business development. “Turbotrip.com is comparable to a global distribution system on the Internet, representing a terrific new distribution outlet for Hilton.”

Turbotrip.com attracts clients by catering to a variety of travel segments, including FIT, corporate, leisure, group meeting, and housing, listing rates available for all segments at each hotel. When requesting information about a particular property, the turbotrip.com site will solicit basic reservations information, followed by special account request information, such as Hilton HHonors?’/Senior HHonors?’ account numbers, and corporate account, group code and travel agent account numbers. Once the customer selects the reservation and a credit card number is provided, he or she will receive instant confirmation of the reservation from turbotrip.com’s proprietary Internet real-time booking program.

Founded in 1991 and privately owned, turbotrip.com offers every type of lodging from full-service deluxe accommodations to bed & breakfast to extended-stay properties. Its consumer-friendly, easily navigable three-step transaction process provides travelers with significant savings in time and cost. Turbotrip.com also has a free membership program designed to satisfy specific consumer needs and operates a central reservations office in New Orleans with expert individualized customer service.

Hilton Hotels Corporation and Hilton International, a subsidiary of Hilton Group plc, have a worldwide alliance to market Hilton, the world’s best-known hotel brand. Collectively offering approximately 1,900 hotels in more than 50 countries worldwide, both companies are recognized as leaders in the hospitality industry. Hilton International currently operates more than 210 hotels in over 50 countries worldwide.
