Online Bookings from Sun Country .

Travelers can make online reservations for flights on the Twin City-based Sun Country airlines?f Website.

The online booking capability is the latest step in Sun Country`s accelerated program to restore top notch traveler and travel agency service - since MN Airlines, LLC commenced operations of Sun Country April 16, 2002. Travelers can now book Sun Country flights 24-hours a day from any PC with an Internet connection.
Sun Country director of information technology, Mark Ondrey, explained that online ticketing is the first, and most important, of Sun Country`s Website development phases. “This has been a nonstop effort to get our booking capability online, and at the same time make it easy use. Our second phase will include hotel, car and tour package booking tools. We are also testing our live online flight status tracking. Phase two will also include seat selection with a user-friendly airplane seat map.”

Jay Salmen, Sun Country president and CEO, believes an effective Web booking tool is critical to the success of the new Sun Country. “For twenty years, Sun Country has built a solid core of very loyal customers around the Midwest and more recently, in other areas in the U.S.”

Sun Country will continue to be available through Expedia, Orbitz and the other popular travel Websites. Travelers making reservations through suncountry.com
are issued e-tickets.
