Australian superstar Kylie Minogue has today unveiled central London’s first tropical beach in Covent Garden to celebrate the launch of British Airways Holidays’ new Tropical Beaches brochure for 2004
A 25 metre white sand beach, which has it’s own palm trees, tropical lagoon, beach bar and holidaymakers, has been installed in Covent Garden market by British Airways Holidays. Eight luxurious tropical holidays to destinations featured in the brochure can be won.

Kylie said: “I have travelled all over the world and British Airways has always been one of my favourite airlines. Bringing a tropical beach to central London is a fantastic way to get everybody in the mood for summer: feel the sand between your toes! It’s like bringing a bit of Australia to London.”
