Raffles Selects Pegasus to Process Travel Agency Commissions

(Nasdaq: PEGS) announced that Singapore-based Raffles International
Hotels & Resorts (RIL) selected Pegasus Commission
Processing to manage its hotel commission payments to travel agents
multi-tiered brands Raffles, Swissotel and
Merchant Court Hotel are included in the agreement, allowing travel
agencies to receive one monthly payment from bookings made at any of
Raffles` 38 properties around the world.  Pegasus Commission
Processing is the hotel industry`s leading travel agent commission
processing service and is operated by Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions.
“We needed a single, streamlined solution to process travel agency
commissions in a timely manner,” said Michelle Woodley, vice president
of electronic distribution for Raffles International.  “Pegasus
employs proven technologies and services, and we quickly concluded
that they were the best option to serve our global commission
management needs.” 
Pegasus has been processing commission payments for Swissotel since
1996, and the brand`s experience with Pegasus played a role in
Raffles` decision to expand the relationship worldwide.  Raffles
purchased Swissotel in June 2001, assuming management duties for 22
Swissotel properties throughout the world.

More than 110 hotel brands utilize the services of Pegasus Commission
Processing.  Each month, Pegasus will collect actual guest stay
information related to Raffles` hotel bookings made by travel agents
via an extraction of information from Raffles` central reservations
system.  After consolidating commission payment and check-out data for
the Raffles` brands with information from more than 32,000
participating hotels, Pegasus will send payments and statements to
member travel agencies worldwide.
