(OTC) today announced it is to launch Build-Your-Own, the travel industry`s first online tailor-made holidays service, on its premier travel website Bargainholidays.com

The breakthrough will enable Bargainholidays` customers to build tailor-made deals online by combining worldwide flights and hotels, boosting the site`s existing offering of over 2m packaged deals.

In addition, travellers will be able to book tour operator`s specially negotiated air fares, which are normally only offered by operators and agents as part of packaged deals. Build-Your-Own also features the most comprehensive online selection of `published` airfares and consolidated fares.

Launched in October last year on OTC`s website OTC-UK.com, Build-Your-Own is heralded as the most significant breakthrough in e-travel since travel websites. Over coming months it will roll out across most of the other sites in the OTC stable, including A2btravel.com and many of OTC`s 60 partner websites.

Said OTC`s CEO Mark Jones: “By launching Build-Your-Own on Bargainholidays we`re offering our customers the convenience and cost-savings of package deals, but with the flexibility of tailor-making their holidays if they so wish.
