AQUA to Integrate Agentware`s Web-Based Fares
AQUA Software Products, Inc
. is aggressively pursuing strategies to incorporate low-priced web fares into the å?gtraditionalå?h reservation and booking process.
In its most recent venture, AQUA will be signing a deal with AgentWare
that will integrate AgentWare?fs
web-based fares into AQUA?fs low fare search module.
AQUA clients will now have the flexibility to program its popular Fare Module technology to search for lower fare options available exclusively on the Internet. Agents will continue to book reservations in the same way they always have. However, when the PNR flows through AQUA?fs mid-office, Fare Module system, it will now access AgentWare web fares via an XML interface to search for even lower web fares consistent with the original query and programmed policy/low fare search guidelines. If a lower fare is found, the system alerts the agent at which point the client can determine if the fare is appropriate for the traveler. According to Mark Ferguson, President of AQUA Software, ?gwithout web fares, its impossible to ensure that a thorough price check has been conducted. AgentWare offers web fare data from more than 20 web sites in a data service that is quick and easy to implement.?h
?gAQUA is a quality partner for delivering low fare information to the travel agent community?h states Les Ottolenghi, CEO and Co-Founder of AgentWare. ?gMany customers are looking for integrated solutions to the web fare problem. Together, AQUA and AgentWare provide a solution that combines the best of low-fare quality control technology with the most comprehensive web fare data in the industry.?h
