Snook Appointed at American Eagle

American Eagle has appointed Jon Snook as the Senior Vice President of
Customer Service for the airline, effective immediately. In his new role,
Jon will have responsibility for all of Eagle`s airport operations, 4,000
Customer Service, Field Service, Ground Support and Ramp employees as well
as the carrier`s 1,300 flight attendants.

“Jon is an energetic leader and a great communicator with an extensive
background in aviation,” said American Eagle President Peter Bowler. “I`m
delighted to have someone with his depth and breadth of experience in this
role. His appointment emphasizes the importance of good customer service
to our passengers.”

Snook started his career in the aviation business with Plane Cargo Ltd.,
joining American as an airport agent in 1986. Since then, he has held a
series of progressively responsible roles at AA in Airport Services,
Reservations and Sales, including Managing Director-AAHolidays; Managing
Director-Sales and Marketing, Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Managing
Director-Alliance Planning. Most recently, Snook served as the Regional
Managing Director-Central Division, leading a significant component of
American`s Customer Service team.

Snook and his wife, Anette, live in Southlake, Texas, with their two
children, Julia and Toby.

In other organizational changes, Stan Henderson, who, until May 2003
served as Senior Vice President of Customer Service, will add to his
current responsibilities as Chief Operations Officer the leadership of the
company`s Flight and System Operations Control (SOC) departments.
